Hope has been a teacher, manager, Director of Dance, and founder of a successful dance studio for the past ten years. Her business has received many awards including 2017-2019 "Best Dance School" in the Washington DC area from Bethesda Magazine and Washington Family Magazine as well as "Best Ballet Teachers" from Expertise Magazine. She has an extensive background in business, marketing, musical theater, tap, jazz, ballet and gained experience through her studies at Shenandoah Conservatory with concentration in Musical Theater and Dance. She has coached a local poms squad as well as is a collegiate poms competition judge. She was a four time nominee and recipient of the prestigious Cappie Award of “Best Female Dancer’ and “Best Choreographer” presented at the Kennedy Centre. She has preformed at various local venues including– The Olney Theatre and Kennedy Centre where she starred as “Cosette” in Les Miserable, “Reno” in Anything Goes, and “Halie” in Buried Child. She has performed and choreographed over 25 musicals in area.

After teaching more than 2000 students in the past 10 years, from the ages of 12 months- 18 years old and having top ranking competition teams which mainly focused on the older dancer, Hope felt that there needed to be more focus on the younger dancer to order to build the strongest technically sound and confident young performers. She felt that young children were not focused on in the manner they deserved and wanted that to change. Hence the creation of Bella Ballet! Bella Ballet serves more than 500 students weekly in styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, musical theatre, and contemporary. Bella Ballet is the home of the Elite Bellas Dance Team and Mini Bellas Dance Team designed for the most commited dancer to perform and train while feeling empowered and helping the community.  Each week at Bella Ballet, we have a "Sparkle of Kindness" where we discuss important core topics with our students to help empower them weekly with self-confidence, leadership, and poise while helping to build them to be the best dancers and people they can be!

Additionally, Hope is heavily involved in a multitude of philanthropic organization including Living your Dream Organization, Shared Hope Association, which both helps children victimized in Human Trafficking, as well as Make- A-Wish- Mid Atlantic, Solider's Angels, One Warm Coat, Comfort Cases, and the Tree House, an organization that helps neglected and abused children in Montgomery County.

In February of 2017, Hope was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. While this was a huge devastating diagnosis, this has not stopped her from continuing to reach for the stars and lead by example the importance of positivity and not allowing anything to define who you are.

Fresh into her 30's (and loving it!) Hope has begun her mission to empower women in the online space through apparel and blogging with her techie husband Brad (who designed this website you're on!). Together they manage a small team committed to growing Confidence by Hope into a beautiful, inspiring brand for women all over the world.
